The Power Pup is working good on my Freightliner 475 Cat. She is working a lot better than she ever did. It’s not the same truck. We installed the Power Pup right around Christmas time. Running stock I was getting 4.1 MPG and now I’m up over 5 with the economy with power tune installed. It has more horsepower and is better on fuel at the same time. It’s a different truck altogether. I've run 6,200 miles since I put the Power Pup in. To be on the conservative side it has picked up 4/10s. It has done better than that, but it will constantly do 4/10s. The Power makes the truck enjoyable to drive. It runs smoother and made a totally different truck out of it. I was leery spending that kind of money on something that might not work, but you have a really nice product.

I was running on average 5.8 before and now I'm doing 6.4 to 6.7. It will do 6.2 constantly and that is why I'm very comfortable saying 4/10s. I pull a tank so of course I run a lot of empty miles. I have a '05 Cat Acert twin turbo and you know that they are notorious for being fuel hogs and dogs, but with the Power Pup it runs better than an old 550 now. It's nice. Before purchasing I was looking for fuel mileage even if I didn't gain power, but I got both. I'm impressed and have no regrets spending the money. It's nice to have someone make something that really works. Thank you.

I'm really pleased with the way it's doing. I didn't talk to anyone else before because I wanted to do my own checking. With the economy with power loaded I have seen no change in any of the temps on the truck. What I have noticed is hauling 81,000 lbs climbing a 6% grade I usually get to the top lugging at 31 MPH and now I'm climbing the same grade at 41 MPH.

When you are running and pulling it feels like the truck is running easier and doing the job better. Anybody that I talk to is going to get nothing but a positive attitude from me about it. I like the way my truck runs and I'm real pleased the product. Thank you.

Just wanted to say thanks for your help getting this installed. After installing the power tune the driver took it for a quick drive and came back grinning from ear to ear. We'll see how the fuel economy gains work out, but right now we are very pleased with the way this rig is working now.

Update:

After the install this rig was driven from Alberta to Quebec. As you can see getting this rig in and out of fuel stations can be a little bit challenging. The fuel tanks on the rig are small so frequent fuel stops are the rule. With the Bully Dog tune installed the rig used $700 less fuel on the trip from what it normally had cost in the past. The driver didn't have to make as many fuel stops and was extremely happy when he arrived ahead of schedule. He got the best of both worlds, extra power and improved fuel economy.

I'm hauling coal pulling heavy loads up long grades running a consistent daily route. We installed the Cat Power Pup over 6 months ago on my C-15. I like how the truck runs with the economy with power tune installed. It's a completely different motor with the tune installed. You have a lot more throttle response and the engine seems to run a lot more like the old mechanical motors. I like it. It has brought up the fuel economy 4/10s. It is working well.

I have an early '07 C-13 Cat. We generally pull either a tank trailer or a grain hopper. Before installation of the Power Pup we would see fuel economy out of the truck of between 4.5 to 5.0 MPG. A real good run was anytime we were over 5.0 MPG. We purchased the Power Pup and installed in Nov/Dec of 2008. With the Power Pup installed we are consistently seeing fuel economy of 6 MPG pulling the hopper and up to 7 MPG pulling the tanker.

The Power Pup has helped the motor a whole lot. The economy tune makes the engine run real smooth. The economy with power tune runs real smooth as well if you keep your foot out of it. We figure on the safe side that we are averaging a pick up of 1 MPG with the Power Pup installed. That adds up pretty significantly with the price of fuel. It has really helped our C-13 a lot. We are very happy with the Power Pup. Thank you for this product.

Running a 1999 Peterbilt with a 3406E, pulling a 53 foot spread axle reefer. I'm always pulling 80,000 or better. With the economy with power tune installed I've picked up between 1/2 mile to 1 mile improvement in fuel economy. The engine has a lot more torque with the tune installed and I have been impressed so far.

Put the power pup in my '08 KW with an ISX 600 four months ago. The power increase was amazing, but it did its regen every day. Didn't see real improvements in fuel mileage until about 2 months ago when it did a very hot regen and burned some of the DPF out, runs alot smoother now too. I'm averaging 5.8 mpg, over a mile a gallon better than before.

The Power Pup downloaders are by far the simplest and easiest products on the market that allow you to see significant cost savings immediately. Bottom line.

I pull heavy loads, generally 100K or better. Before installing the Bully Dog Power Pup with the economy with power setting I was averaging 4.9 MPG on my '06 C-15 Acert. Now that the downloader is installed I'm averaging 5.5 MPG. The biggest difference to me however if the way the truck is running. Pulling a 6 percent grade with the loads I'm hauling in the past I would hit the top of those grades at 20 miles an hour. Now that I have the downloader installed I'm pulling the same loads up those grades peaking the top at 35 to 42 miles an hour and I've gained 3 gears in the process. On the little mole hills I can keep in 13th gear and maintain a steady 58 miles an hour. That a tremendous difference for me and I'm extremely pleased with the product and how my truck is running now. Thank you.

Pulling 110 to 120K oversized/overweight loads on the truck, I'm seeing an increase of 8/10s running the economy with power setting. I've gained 2 gears on the mountains. My buddy has a 600 and I can now out pull him with my 550. We both have 18 speeds, but I have the 3:73 gears and he has the 3:55. The Power Pup does a good job. I'm definitely well pleased with it so far. Thank you for putting something out that will help us.

I have been running the Bully Dog Power plus Economy on my 04 Freightliner Century Detroit for about 6 months now. I am very pleased with the results. After installing the program, I experienced an immediate increase in fuel mileage of about 3/4 of a mile to the gallon. In fact, my fuel mileage used to run in the 6.75 to 7 mpg range with the best I could get being about 7.27. I now get 7.75 to 8.25 depending on conditions. I don't haul heavy loads, but the load I haul have a lot of little wind grabbers that really play havok with fuel mileage and performance. I even think the engine runs better with the Bully Dog progam installed. I have told a number of people about your program and will continue to spread the word. Downloader is wonderful. The installation was a piece of cake. Seeing 1/4 MPG improvement with the economy with power setting installed after 2 months.

It works well. I recommend it to those who are looking for a little bit more horsepower and a little bit more performance, particularly out of that C-15. I have a 06 western star with a series 60 515 horse detroit 18 speed 307 rears and low pro 22.5's On our last quarter IFTA fuel mileage average it was 5.98. This [economy with power] program was installed on or about 5-1-2008...I felt I needed the top program...and immediately seen fuel mileage increase up to 7/10 a mile to a gallon...I run west coast out of Pa area... Although I have not ran for a full quarter to get exact average mile per gallon figures, I do calculate my fuel mileage between fill ups and my average will be 1/2 to 7/10 increase and very much enjoying my Big Dog status. [The Cummins Power Pup] Works Great! Improvements are 1 mile to the gallon, real improvement, the pulls are better on hills and smoother. At first fuel mileage was up 6.3 and now is consistently up 4/10 to 6/10.

RMC Transport has gained four to five tenths per gallon better. They also have gain a gear pulling long grades.
